Thanksgiving is a holiday full of appreciation. Most of us tend to associate this appreciation with family and friends, but because Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, I like to associate this appreciation with food as well. Everyone can eat and appreciate thanksgiving dinner as long as they control their portion sizes. However, in order to avoid over eating I would advise you to just skip the appetizers and hold off on the bread as best you can. With that said, I promise that one small piece of bread will not cause you to gain 10 pounds, so don’t deprive yourself. Thanksgiving is full of delicious food, but one of my absolute favorite parts about this particular meal (besides the turkey of course) is dessert.
